In a performance of 2 October 2010 at St. Petri-Kirche, Wandersleben, Thüringen and broadcast by Deutschlandfunk, Tuesday 19 April 2011, here's a newly discovered work by Reinhard Keiser (1674-1739), graphic title Oratorium Passionale `Der blutige und sterbende Jesus'. The text is by Christian Friedrich Hunold, 1680-1721, otherwise known as Menantes, who lived and worked in Thüringen. This performance is the first known performance in 270 years.

Technical details: Satellite broadcast, recorded directly to satellite receiver's hard drive, transferred via home network to the computer's hard drive. The ts file was demuxed by ProjectX, and the resulting mp2 (320 kbps, 48kHz) stream was edited using mp3DirectCut. A 44.1kHz wav stream was made using dBpoweramp Music Converter. After editing the wav stream was converted to mp3 (320bps/44.1kHz) and flac (495 kbps, 16bit, 44.1kHz) by Goldwave.
