When Sir Simon Rattle conducts Der Rosenkavalier with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, some may prefer to hear the orchestral sound in its full glory. Therefore I decided to upload the recording by the Dutch radio in wav-flac with cue sheets, ready to burn on three cd's. The sound, coming from digital radio, is excellent, but I noticed a few very small dropouts; in my part of the world inevitable with digital broadcast from the Dutch radio. (My system is not to blame, as I do not hear them when recording English, German, Belgian or French broadcasts.) And of course it is a live recording with all the noise involved and also with some mistakes, for instance by a ravishing Sally Matthews (Sophie) who missed her entrance at 'Ich kenn' ihn recht wohl, mon cousin!' in the second act. Anyway, just unzip, join, decode and enter the cues (in that order).
