Myriam Marbe (1931 - 1997) war die erste Komponistin, die 1987 den Heidelberger Künstlerinnenpreis gewann. Im Frühjahr 2011 wäre die gebürtige Bukaresterin 80 Jahre alt geworden. Ihr lyrisch-kontemplatives Gesangswerk Fra Angelico - Marc Chagall - Voronet trifft im zweiten Bachchor-Konzert auf Mozarts unvollendete letzte Komposition.
Folgt Mozart der katholischen Liturgie, so kombiniert Myriam Marbe in ihrem Requiem Totengesänge aus christlicher, jüdischer und heidnischer Tradition.
