Music of Kent Kennan

All are from live performances Mp3 & 192 kbps

Perhaps best known for his work, Night Soliloquy, and for his texts on counterpoint and orchestration, Kennan also wrote some other wonderful music. The performance of the Symphony (listed below) was, to the best of my knowledge, the only complete performance ever given of the work. While one can hear the influence of the Walton 1st and the music of Hanson, it is still worthy of a revival.

Kent was quite self-critical as a composer and wrote relatively little as a result.
