Goebel in dieser Saison mit dem hr-Sinfonieorchester präsentiert. Dabei stellt er die berühmte Zentralfigur der weitverzweigten Musiker-Dynastie mit einer Rätsel aufwerfenden Sinfonia vor. Im Anschluss kommen die vier bedeutendsten Söhne Johann Sebastian Bachs in der Reihenfolge ihrer Geburt zu Wort: der Älteste, Wilhelm Friedemann, mit der Sinfonia zu einer Pfingstkantate, der Zweitgeborene Carl Philipp Emanuel mit einem ausdrucksstarken Cellokonzert aus dem Todesjahr des Vaters, Johann Christoph Friedrich mit einer weltlichen Kammerkantate und der "Londoner Bach" Johann Christian mit Ausschnitten aus seiner letzten Oper "Amadis de Gaules". hr2-kultur überträgt das Konzert aus der Reihe "Barock plus" aus dem hr-Sendesasal.
