Greetings everyone
Join me in attending a dramatic performance of "Aida" in Seattle in 1992.
The title role is taken by Andrea Gruber and Radames by Michael Sylvester. There is sturdy singing from both and a fierce performance of Amonasro by Brent Ellis gives an all-American feel to the show.
This is from a broadcast, but the cassettes I obtained in trade are a bit noisy, perhaps due to the low recording level. There is some momentary radio re-tuning in act 4. If anyone has better, please share.
