Product Description

CD90003 Klaus Tennstedt rare broadcasts

Klaus Tennstedt would have celebrated his 85. birthday two weeks ago. Here are some German broadcasts. The first one is from the formerly East German MDR who transmitted some very rare and early examples of Tennstedt from their archive. Mostly pretty unknown short pieces. Among them a not unknown Dalila scene with the great Elena Cernei and a longer piece by Berio´s and Abbado´s teacher Giorgio Frederico Ghedini. The second one is Mozart symphony No. 32 conducted by the mature Tennstedt at Munich.

All are from digital cable rebroadcast, mp3 320 kb
