Product Description

CD88875 Pelleas - Boston 10/18/03 - Hunt Lieberson, Keenlyside, Finl

This was recorded by a friend of mine from WGBH in Boston. He was kind enough to share it with me, and I hope you enjoy it as well. There is, of course, a special connection between Hunt Lieberson and Boston, as she got her start here (playing viola in the orchestra at Emmanuel Church). It is a beautiful performance, and turns up less frequently than the Carnegie Hall performance by the same forces.

Cheers,

Allen
