A friend was lucky to see "Un Ballo in Maschera" at the Wiener Staatsoper in 1998. He was compelled to sit next to Georg Tichy's father by the sound if his recording, which I offer to you now. The American soprano Aprile Millo is in splendid voice, and Fabio Armiliato is a sound Gustavus. This is an in-house recording.
