Product Description

CD88248 Weber's second opera Silvana - from Munich April 2010

Broadcast by BR-Klassik on Tuesday 29 March 2011, and recorded at Munich's Prinzregententheater on April 18 2010, here's a performance of Carl Maria von Weber's three act comic opera Silvana. There's a jaunty bounce to the whole exercise.

This is the cast Silvana - Lea Marlen Woitack Mechtilde - Michaela Kaune Graf Rudolph von Helfenstein - Ferdinand von Bothmer Albert von Cleeburg - Jörg Schörner Graf Adelhart - Detlef Roth

and others (I've included a tine mp3 file where the announces lists all and sundry in case people wonder who these 'and others' are).
