Product Description

CD85827 FISCHER-DIESKAU SINGS SCHUBERT IN AMSTERDAM 1986

as a tribute to the Old Year which I can fortunately close in 12 hours from now, an upload from my old cassettes: Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau singing Schubert in the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam, December 9, 1986, accompanied from Jorg Demus.

I recorded it from the radio. It escaped being erased and thrown away years ago, because I dubbed the A side with an interview and forgot that the B side was empty. Well, empty... Dieskau was hiding there, I discovered only last week. But since the repertoire wasn't unique, I would at the time have dubbed it with the next interview, had I known there was $ 1 worth of free space there..
