Broadcast by Swiss radio channel Espace2 Saturday 13 November 2010, here's a Spanish production of Carl Heinrich Graun's twenty-ninth opera, a 'tragedy in 3 acts', Montezuma, to a French libretto by Frederick the Great to whom Graun was court composer.
The performance took place on 18 September 2010 at Madrid's Teatros del Canal. (It was staged at the Edinburgh Festival this year too, see Anna Picard's less than flattering review below.)
