Return with me to Cincinnati for a very opera indeed. In 1983 the City opera there had the courage and initiative to perform Alfano's "Resurrection" in an English translation by Andrew Porter. I have a recording of the adventurous broadcast for you, thanks to a now forgotten friend who sent me this in trade. Please remind me who you are, if you read this.
I have listed the principal singers and the full cast can be heard on the last track of CD2.
