CD84168 Audio TOSCA with Bumbry
Now in better sound! A very special performance with Grace Bumbry. As far as I know it had been one of the last fully staged performance with her in the title-role. She was in splendid form and will give you some extra screams(Ha!Ha!). There are some bars missing at the end of act 3 because the batteries were low, but the finale is there. Only some bars of the execution are missing. There were Kristjan Johannsson as a superb Cavaradossi and a sometimes strange sounding Bernd Weikl as rarely performed Scarpia. Enjoy!
