CD1621500 Miklósa 25 - Gala night 21.01.2016

In January 2016 will mark a quarter-century since a young lass from Kiskunhalas named Erika Miklósa, then barely out of her teens, first stepped onto the stage of Erkel Theatre in the role of Papagena. Now, 25 years later, this celebrated coloratura soprano who now graces the greatest opera houses is not only focused on her own profession as an opera singer, but also on helping young talents get started on their careers, and also happily gets involved in various social events that promote such causes as equal opportunity for all and a healthy lifestyle. At the gala night at the Erkel Theatre on 21 January 2016, we'll all have the chance to celebrate the artist's anniversary together. Guests will include colleagues from Hungary and abroad.

USA Telephone (404) 200-4776 We sell only opera recordings. The recordings are sent to you in paper sleeves with no tray card or inserts, just the raw discs with printed labels. These recordings are of nonprofessional quality that are in the public domain. The quality of these old opera recordings is not very good and they are meant for collectors and educational purposes only. Most of them are 30 or 40 years old, so they might be blurry, colors faded, and not sound very good, but they might not be available elsewhere. Please note that most of our recordings do not have tracks, they have 1 long track per disc.
