DIE TOTE STADT (LA VILLE MORTE) Opéra en trois tableaux, Op.12 (1920) Livret de Paul Schott (pseudonyme de Julius Korngold, mais Erich a aussi participé à l'écriture), inspiré du roman de Georges Rodenbach, Bruges-la-Morte (1892) et de son adaptation à la scène (Le Mirage). Création simultanée à Cologne et à Hambourg, le 4 décembre 1920.
