here is one of the last leonora of dimitrova,in athens,odeon herode atticus. 3 years before stop singing,her voice is still incredibly powerful. only a little vibrato can be heard in the high medium of course,the voice is not as in 1980,but there is miracles in this leonora ("la vergine degli angeli" is stupendous) you can hear how a great singer can be at the end of her carreer,still "digne" despite problems with high notes (a little too much "forte" sometimes,or fighting to give more sweetness to her voice) a great performance of ghena. excellent broadcast recording complete cast on files (bartolini-salvadori-kavrakos-mariotti)
