I am uploading a video recording of a BBC TV film, reshown on the Satellite channel "Performance" , of Purcell's Dido & Aeneas. This was once available on VHS videotape, now out of print, and has not appeared on MP4. The soundtrack is available on CD.
It has the characteristics of a film made after the soundtrack with the artists miming, although that is only my opinion and I may be incorrect.

The quality of these old opera recordings is not very good and they are meant for collectors and educational purposes only. Most of them are 30 or 40 years old, so they might be blurry, colors faded, and not sound very good, but they might not be available elsewhere. Please note that most of our recordings do not have tracks, they have 1 long track per disc.
