here comes this year's Parsifal from Bayreuth, as recorded from the digital satellite broadcast of Bayern 4 Klassik (broadcast as Dolby surround, and recorded as ac3 as well as mp2). As this was no live broadcast, no extended interval features were broadcast, and – for those who love them – no fanfares. You will find links to the music files - in the original mp2 format (320kbps/48kHz, no editing, no re-encoding); - in the original ac3 format (Dolby surround 448kbps/48kHz, no editing, no re-encoding). All music files (please join files with HJ-Split) will give you the complete opera in three acts. You may have to remove the .html ending before downloading, if you don't use JDownloader or RapidShare-Manager.
Files "Bay2010Parsifal_radio_mp2.zip" resp. "…_ac3.zip" contain the radio announcements: "radio1" has the introduction and the description of scene and contents of act1 by Dirk Kruse; "radio2" offers an interview with Susan Maclean (Kundry), together with the description of scene and contents of act 2; and "radio3" contains an essay by Alexandra Dielitz on "Parsifal e Venezia", together with the description of scene and contents of act 3. The final announcement (with cast) is included with the file for act 3.
