This is a US broadcast from a French performance. The opera is abridged but not by much. The conductor is the same as the 1937 radio premiere but that was Rennes, I think. This is probably a post-war Paris radio performance. The date of the US broadcast I don't know, but I have had this copy since the 1970s. Only one cast member has defeated my efforts to confirm my transcript from the announcement, but surely one of our memebrs can correct me in the usual tactful way.
