While sorting some recordings I detected this 1980 concert from Berlin. Listening to it I thought that itīs a marvelous evening and ought to be shared with you. Seldom today Chailly shows this temperament and fire as in the last set of the Tchaikovsky symphony where the Berlin Philharmonic let themselves go and lose all philharmonic control. And there are too few recordings of the wonderful Radu Lupu. Frank
