CD96130 l'Italiana in Algeri - d'Intino, Florez, Alberti, Donn - To
This performance has been available on OS in a number of video version over the
years, but the most recent upload recorded from a recent RAI5 re-broadcast has
made a really excellent audio extraction possible. This has not previously been
available audio-only files. I do not believe either that there as ever been a
commercial release of this performance. The video was once available but only
on a pirate label.
The AC3 files (48000Hz, 384kbps) of the DVD file have been extracted as wav files and some very light mastering done to optimize the sound which is excellent stereo broadcast sound. As the uploaded video was captured directly these files have never been compressed to mp3 with the implicit lossiness. Many thanks to the uploader of the superb video (available at message #96062.)
