Product Description

CD92689 Tosca; BSO, 1980

Hello,

Here is my own recording, (actually, once again, my Dad taped it for me), of Puccini's Tosca, with the Boston Symphony conducted by Seiji Ozawa. The only date I have is what I wrote on the cassette, October 11, 1980, but I suppose the performance took place before that, and what I wrote was the broadcast date. For some reason, I remember it was a Monday. The sound is good, but in mono, which I don't get because the equipment I used certainly recorded in stereo. Perhaps they broadcast in mono. Uploaded at 320kbps. Please enjoy. James.
