but in better picture/sound.
I attached French/English/Japanese subtitles to this video for my own sake, as I did to; Einem : "Dantons Tod"(#85491) , Verdi : "Un Giorno di Regno"(#88127), Rossini : "Mose in Egitto".(#81344), Meyerbeer : "Robert le diable"(#81987).
In my opinion, in spite of the ugliest stage, wonderful singings of Baltsa, Domingo, and other singers have made it clear that this is one of the greatest opera in the 19th century. I recommend you to check the libretto of the last scene, which is almost impossible to understand with this video. French libretto of Act 5 is available at:
