I am requested to re-upload a recording I was able to make in 1998 of a recital ( his first in New York) by the tenor Ben Heppner. This I do willingly.
When the concert was over and we were rising, out strode the big fellow and gave us an unaccompanied "Danny Boy". I failed to record this, but thanks to a friend I have since received that encore, perhaps not quite as closely recorded as the main part of the recording.
