Product Description

CD91210 Excerpts from Rossini's Adelaide di Borgogna Milan 1999 Flo In honor of the soon to open 2011 Rossini Opera Festival, please enjoy this zipfile of excerpts from "Adelaide di Borgogna." I checked the OperaShare index several times and don't see that it has been uploaded before. If it has please accept my apologies.

This recording is very early Juan Diego Florez who sings the music of Adelberto. It is an in-house recording, received in trade, ripped at 320 bps. There are 8 separate mp3 files, in one zip folder.

Because the mezzo (Daniela Barcellona) was indisposed for this performance it is only excerpts without the mezzo. Others in the cast are: Rosita Frisani (Adelaide) Maurizio Dalena (Iroldo) and Marcello Lippi (Berengario)

The selections are:

Recorded in Milano with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi. I don't know the conductor. I hope this is a rare recording and will be enjoyed!

These recordings are of nonprofessional quality that are in the public domain. The quality of these old opera recordings is not very good and they are meant for collectors and educational purposes only. Most of them are 30 or 40 years old, so they might be blurry, colors faded, and not sound very good, but they might not be available elsewhere. Please note that most of our recordings do not have tracks, they have 1 long track per disc.
