Product Description

CD88335 Joseph Moog - not quite a whole recital - Haydn, Godows

I recorded most of this recital by the young German pianist Joseph Moog, whose latest CD 'divergences' (with a small 'd') was highly commended by at least one reviewer (possibly with the Intl. Record Review).

Reasoning that something is often better than nothing, here's most of Moog's 12 january 2011 recital at Sendesaal Bremen, broadcast by Radio Bremen - Nordwestradio, Friday 1 April 2011 in their programme series Auf schwarzen und weißen Tasten.

Haydn - Keyboard Sonata in B minor, Hob.XVI.32 (1774-76)

Godowsky - 4 Études d'après les études de Frédéric Chopin (1893-1914)

Ignaz Friedman - `Schatzwalzer' - Konzertarrangement nach Johann Strauß (1933)

Fauré - Barcarolle no 3 in G sharp major, op 42 (1885) & Nocturne no 6 in D sharp major, op 63 (1894)

Important Information!!!
USA Telephone (404) 200-4776 We sell only opera recordings. The recordings are sent to you in paper sleeves with no tray card or inserts, just the raw discs with printed labels. These recordings are of nonprofessional quality that are in the public domain. The quality of these old opera recordings is not very good and they are meant for collectors and educational purposes only. Most of them are 30 or 40 years old, so they might be blurry, colors faded, and not sound very good, but they might not be available elsewhere. Please note that most of our recordings do not have tracks, they have 1 long track per disc.
