Thanks so much to Jacques for the recent upload of the Arte documentary on Diana Damrau (message #86973). I enjoyed it so much that I went back to a previous video upload by giovannischmidt (message #86398 -- thanks to him too) and extracted the audio to stereo mp3 (360 kbps). I separated this generous program into all its separate numbers, leaving in the applause that usually came only after a song group.
There is too much here for one CD. You can either make 2 CDs, dividing before the German group starts (#16); or omit the two harp only selections (#s 08 and 15) so that all the Damrau vocals fit onto one CD.
A recital from Festspielhaus Baden-Baden on 27 January 2009 by German soprano Diana Damrau and French harpist Xavier de Maistre.
The program contains songs by Debussy, Fauré, Schumann and Strauss.
