This ring has not been available on operashare since 2007, so I have reloaded it here. I have taken the opportunity to fix a few flaws such as 2 drop outs in Walkure of about 2 secs. The sound is not bad, tho' hardly hi-fi, and GD is noticeably poorer then the rest of the ring. I am quite surprised no one has issued this ring commercially in good sound, since it is quite an interesting one. The tempos are quite slow, but the cast is an excellent mix of 1950s Bayreuth and 1950s Royal Opera. Cast lists from the original upload with the addition of the Valkyries from the Royal Opera Archives. Original was 128kps stereo, new upload 128kps mono.

Please note that most of our recordings do not have tracks, they have 1 long track per disc.
