CD10660 Strauss Daphne 1964 Munich Bande son film

Hi everyone, I thought it might be helpful to share the audio only of the recent video posting of this opera. I have cleaned up the sound so far as I am able, the pitch wavering towards the end is beyond my capabilities to repair but I did eliminate several short sound gaps in the first 5 mins and then a cluster at 78mins. I want to thank the original poster - this is a great performance and very interesting to compare with the DG live stereo version recorded the same year. I found a reference on the net that says this soundtrack was recorded in Munich on December 16, 1964, which is 7 months after the live performances DG used (late May 1964). In particular it is interesting to compare Keilberth's tempi to those of Bohm, which at times seem quite ponderous, and in fact this performance runs 4 mins slower than Bohm. Anyway, if you would like to hear my efforts, here is the link.
